St George’s Day Parade
We had the most wonderful time at the St George’s Day town parade in March, Cambridgeshire. A massive thank you goes out to all of our incredible volunteers who took part and helped us fly the flag for these amazing hounds
We brought along some of our available superstars who were absolute naturals, and it made our day to see so many of our rehomed hounds join in the fun too!
It was a real treat to spend time with some of our rehomed hounds: Sam (Seattle Sam), Sam (Jura Go Sam), Woody (Miracle), Ray (Trappers Delight), King (Simply One Plan) and Rocky (Ragnorak) who recently moved into his forever home. We also loved seeing Rosie (Curtain Twitcher) as she settles into life with her new brother Buzz, who we rehomed in 2025. To top it all off, we were joined by the lovely Roisin who is a permanent member in our home, who is actually Buzz’s mum! The dogs were total superstars and loved meeting so many new people throughout the day.
Thank you to everyone that stopped to say hello!
Skylark Dog Show
Harry and Dexter traded the kennel life for the bright lights of the Skylark Garden Centre & Cafe dog Show!
It was a day of big crowds, wagging tails, and meeting new friends including a very tiny visitor named Muffin the Chihuahua
We are so proud of how these two handled their first big public outing. A huge thank you to our volunteers for the chauffeur service and the treats!
March community Fire & Rescue Drill Night
A huge thank you to March Community Fire & Rescue Station for generously accommodating our wonderful greyhounds on 14/07/25 at their Drill Night! It was an invaluable experience for them, helping them get accustomed to some sights and sounds they could encounter in their day-to-day lives as pets. We truly appreciate your support in helping these lovely hounds prepare for their forever homes!
Great Global Greyhound Walk 2025
We attended the Great Global Greyhound Walk this year on 28th September in Chatteris organised by Cambridgeshire Sighthounds.
We took some of our Greyhounds that are currently looking for homes and got to meet up with some of our rehomed hounds!
We had a great (and wet) time and can’t wait for next years walk!
