Our beautiful brindle girl Sylvie has returned to our care, and while it is bittersweet to see her back, we are looking forward to finding her a forever family.

She proved herself to be an absolute natural at domestic life, remaining clean and settling into the household routine with the quiet grace we always knew she possessed.

One of the most endearing things about Sylvie is her morning greeting. When she first steps out of her kennel to start the day, she gets so overwhelmed with excitement that she shows her teeth in a big, goofy Greyhound smile. It is a wonderful quirk that never fails to make us laugh. Once that initial morning spark has settled, she melts back into the lovely, sweet, and soulful girl who is happy to spend the rest of her day dreaming the hours away.

She is a social butterfly with other dogs - from Corgis to Shepherds and Greyhounds - and she is a "ready-made" companion who has already done some of the hard work of learning how to be a pet.

Sylvie would thrive in a household where she has a dedicated, soft spot to curl up, ideally in the heart of the home where she can feel like part of the family.

Since she is such a social girl, she would be a wonderful fit for a home that already has other dogs, whether they are fellow Greyhounds or other breeds.

Because Sylvie can be a little shy and truly treasures her own space for those long afternoon naps, we feel she would be best suited to a home with older children who can respect her boundaries.

Sylvie is not suitable to live with cats.

Born 3rd May 2021, Sylvie was known as Silver Cloud in her racing days at Yarmouth. She had 55 races, her last being on 9th February 2025.
