Meet Santa, the retired greyhound who proves that Christmas can absolutely come early this year!

Instead of a round belly and a red suit, this Santa is a tall, dark, and seriously handsome black boy who is ready to retire from the racing track straight onto your sofa!

He is a super loving, playful boy who absolutely adores people and is already good with older children. He’s also a wonderful roommate, having happily shared his grotto with a female greyhound. We will be testing him with small breeds and younger kids very soon to see how he does.

If you are looking for a sweet, affectionate boy to bring a little holiday magic into your life all year round, Santa is ready to pack his toys and move right in!

His ideal home is one with plenty of love, a toy box bursting with balls, and a human who doesn't mind a goofy shadow.

He would thrive in a home with older children who can join in on his playtime. He’d happily share his sleigh with a female Greyhound, though he'd be just as content being the spoiled centre of your universe.

As long as he has a garden or enclosed area to zoom around in, Santa will be living his absolute dream.

Santa is not suitable to live with cats, they are firmly on his naughty list.

Santa, born 04/09/22, was formerly know as Dasoundoffreedom in his racing days at Yarmouth, Romford and in Ireland. He raced 76 times, his last being on 21st June 2026.
