Rum is an incredibly special dog to us, and now it's his turn to find the perfect home! With his mum being a permanent resident here and all his littermates happily settled in their own homes, we feel it’s time for Rum to find his own forever family!

Rum is absolutely brilliant with children. He gets along wonderfully with all breeds and sizes of dogs, and he has done very well in his cat test!

Rum walks perfectly on the lead and loves going out for adventures. He has lots of experience being out in public, often attending local dog shows in the summer with our volunteers and going on trips out to show off just how wonderful the Greyhound breed is. He’s an amazing ambassador!

Rum has lots of experience living both in our on-site house and at one of our volunteer's homes, making him a well adjusted house guest. You will often spot him enjoying a snooze while wearing his favourite fleece pyjamas!

Rum is a social butterfly who truly thrives off of interaction and routine. He is looking for a home where he will have plenty of company. He would be an ideal fit for a multi-dog household, or a home where his owner is around a lot, ready to shower him with attention and keep him company.

Rum would suit most homes, but he is truly searching for a devoted family who can give him the company he craves. If you are looking for a gentle, loving, and well socialized companion, Rum could be your perfect match!

Rum, born 19th May 2021 was formerly know as Blooms Red Rum in his racing days at Henlow, Towcester and Romford. He raced 95 times, his last being on 29th April 2025
