Meet Pete, the newest member of our kennels who is settling in just perfectly!

This lovely, friendly boy has transitioned into kennel life with total ease and is proving to be a dream guest. Not only is he clean in his kennel, but he has a playful spirit that comes alive whenever he’s around his toys.

Pete is a social soul who gets along nicely with other greyhounds and other breeds of dogs. He has shown great manners around our resident Shepherd and Corgis. He’s well behaved on the lead and enjoys his walks. He has also done well in his child test with older children (7+ years).

We are still getting to know this charming lad, but we can already tell he’s going to make a lucky family very happy.

Pete is a friendly and adaptable boy who has fit in perfectly here. He would be suitable to live with older children and other dogs.

Pete, born 01/02/22, was formerly know as Strike It Pete in his racing days in Ireland. He raced 20 times, his last being on 19th October 2024.
