    Meet Hugo, the gorgeous retired greyhound who has been stealing hearts and making huge strides!

    While Hugo used to play it reserved, he has been building his confidence daily and is now loving meeting lots of new people. He can still be a little worried when faced with unfamiliar situations, but his brave new world keeps expanding every single day.

    Hugo is the absolute gentleman on the lead and happily goes on solo or group walks.

    When he knows it's time for a walk or a game, his silly side comes through, and he gets very excited and bouncy.

    Hugo has also done brilliantly making friends with older children and gets on amazingly well with other greyhounds!

  • An Ideal Home

    Hugo is looking for an adult-only environment or a home with sensible older children who can offer a balanced mix of routine and fun.

    He adores the company of fellow Greyhounds and would thrive living alongside another canine friend to share his adventures with.

    f you have a warm, loving home and are ready for a devoted, fun-loving hound, Hugo is ready to meet you!

    Hugo is not suitable to live with cats!

  • Glideaway Hugo

    Hugo, born 26/06/21, was formerly know as Glideaway Hugo in his racing days at Yarmouth, Romford, Henlow, Central Park, Crayford, Towcester, Monmore and in Ireland. He raced 156 times, his last being on 26th July 2026.
