Looking for a sweet, people loving companion? Say hello to Harry, the handsome, newly retired Greyhound who is quickly mastering the art of being a wonderful pet!

Harry is a gentle boy who absolutely adores human company, thriving on affection from everyone he meets.

He has been a star in his initial assessments. During his child test with a 7 year old, he showed excellent behaviour, proving he could be a calm and loving family addition. He also had good initial results in his cat test; however, to ensure he is fully comfortable and safe, further testing will be required before he can be homed with feline friends. We will be testing Harry with other dog breeds soon to see how he interacts with them.

While he is still learning about life on the sofa and the ways of retirement, he is settling nicely and proving every day that he is destined to be a loyal and wonderful companion.

Because Harry enjoys the company of his own kind, he would especially love a home that already has a canine companion, ideally another Greyhound, to help him settle in and share his adventures with.

Harry, born 9th September 2021 was formerly know as Harry Up Ella in his racing days at Yarmouth. He raced 89 times, his last being on 8th October 2025.
