  • About Hank

    Our handsome boy Hank is back in our care and officially searching for his forever family. Hank spent a bit of time in a home recently, but it wasn't quite the right fit for his needs.

    If you are looking for a dog who loves other hounds, Hank is your guy! He gets along brilliantly with dogs of all breeds and sizes & from fellow sighthounds to pocket-sized pals. Because he can get a bit anxious when left on his own, Hank would do well with canine companionship for comfort and confidence. For this reason, we believe Hank will thrive best in a home with at least one other resident dog to keep him company and show him the ropes.

    Hank is a sensitive, sweet soul with an absolutely wonderful personality once he knows he trusts you. He requires a patient, dedicated owner who understands that settling into a new routine takes time. He will need gentle guidance, positive training, and encouragement as he learns to navigate new situations and builds up his confidence in the world around him.

    Underneath his gentle nature lies a loyal companion waiting to blossom. Hank has so much affection to give, and in the right environment with the right pack, he will make an extraordinary companion.

  • An Ideal Home

    Though Hank successfully passed his child assessment for kids aged 3 and up, we feel he will flourish best in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy children. He needs a calm, understanding environment where the humans in his life know how to respect his wants and needs.

    Hank, born 23/10/21, was formerly know as Silverhill Hank in his racing days at Towcester, Oxford and Newbridge. He raced 57 times, his last being on 2nd June 2026.
