About Gee
Gee is a handsome and soulful young Greyhound who is looking for a very special place to call his own.
Gee is a sweet boy who prefers to take life at a relaxed pace while he figures out the world around him. Once his initial shyness barrier is broken, you will find a loyal, cheeky and affectionate companion who absolutely thrives on human connection. The quickest way to win his heart is through a few chin scratches, which never fail to make him melt.
While he is naturally reserved, he has already shown us how brave he can be. During his recent interaction with a three and an eight year old child, Gee handled the introduction well once he moved past his initial shyness. It was a heart warming reminder of just how much potential this young boy has when given a little bit of time and understanding.
If you have a quiet home and a lot of love to give, Gee might just be the missing piece of your family!

An Ideal Home
Gee is social with other Greyhounds and finds a great deal of comfort in the company of his own kind. Having another calm dog in the home could be a wonderful asset for him as he learns the ropes of domestic life. He has also been doing well in his introductions to other smaller breeds.
Because Gee values his peace and quiet, we believe he would be most successful in an adult only household or a home with older, dog-savvy children. He needs a family that won't rush him while he is finding his feet in a new environment.
We are continuing to assess his comfort levels and will be testing him in different scenarios to ensure we find the perfect match for his sensitive nature.
Gee is not suitable to live with cats.
