About Eamonn
Every once in a while, a dog arrives at our kennels and instantly captures the collective heart of the entire team, and Eamonn is exactly that kind of boy.
This stunning retired greyhound is officially looking for his forever sofa, and we honestly cannot say enough good things about him. While he might start off a little bit bashful when meeting someone new, it is a shy charm that only makes it more rewarding when he finally decides you are his person. All it takes is a few ear scratches to break the ice; once you’ve won him over, you have a friend for life who will stick to your side like glue.
Eamonn has proven himself to be a complete gentleman in his social life so far. He has been respectful and calm when meeting older children other greyhounds and has done well in his initial introductions with smaller breeds.
When he realizes it is finally his turn for a walk and sees the lead come out, he performs a spin dance that never fails to make us laugh. It is his own little way of showing the world how happy he is to be heading out for an adventure. On the move, he is great to walk and shows good manners.
Eamonn is a sensitive, loyal, and wonderfully quirky boy who is just waiting for the right person to notice his lovely personality and his happy dance.

An Ideal Home
We are looking for a very special forever home for this retired gentleman. Eamonn needs a household that is happy to let him set the tempo during those first few days. If you are a family that values a loving connection and doesn’t mind a leggy shadow following you from room to room, Eamonn is waiting to start his retirement with you!
Regarding his potential to live with feline friends, he has already passed his first initial cat test with flying colours. However, because we want to be 100% certain for everyone’s safety, he will be undergoing further testing before we officially clear him to live in a home with cats.
