Dukie is a sweet, friendly retired greyhound who is already capturing everyone's attention with his handsome looks and eager to please nature!

Still fairly new to us and happily settling into kennel life, this lovely boy is taking everything in his stride, and we are loving getting to know his personality more each day.

Dukie is great to take out and about, walking nicely on the lead and enjoying his daily strolls.

He is a total sweetheart who loves playing with his favourite toys and soaking up affection from his human friends.

He has done brilliantly in his initial tests with older children, gets on well with other calm greyhounds, and will soon be meeting smaller children as well as undergoing small breed testing as we learn more about him.

Dukie would make a wonderful addition to a loving family home that can offer him a great mix of fun walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles.

He would do well in a home with older children, and we will update his profile soon once we see how he does with younger ones!

Dukie gets along with other calm greyhounds and could thrive as a solo dog receiving all the attention or alongside a relaxed sighthound companion. His compatibility with smaller breeds will be confirmed shortly.

Dukie, born 01/10/23, was formerly know as Miami Duke in his racing days at Yarmouth, Romford, Nottingham, Towcester, Doncaster and Suffolk Downs. He raced 22 times, his last being on 29th June 2026.
