His friendly disposition extends to his fellow canines as well; whether it’s a tiny pup or a fellow giant, Dexter greets dogs of all shapes and sizes with a relaxed attitude.

One of the most impressive things about Dexter is his potential to live in a multi-pet household. He recently passed his first cat test with flying colors, staying wonderfully calm and respectful throughout the evaluation. While we will be retesting him soon to continue his socialization and ensure he remains comfortable, his initial "cat-savvy" behavior is incredibly promising for a home with feline friends.

Beyond his social skills, Dexter is a sweet, playful soul who is discovering the joy of life’s simple pleasures. He has a great love for his toys and will happily entertain you with a few zoomies before looking for a comfortable spot to nap. He is also very food-motivated, which makes him a focused and attentive student whenever there’s a tasty treat involved.

When it’s time to head out for a walk, Dexter is a total gentleman. He walks beautifully on a lead, staying right by your side without pulling, making every stroll a relaxing experience for everyone involved. He simply loves everyone he meets and is looking for a forever home where he can shower his humans with affection.

Dexter, born 14/03/21, was formerly know as Scania Lad in his racing days at Yarmouth and in Ireland. He raced 40 times, his last being on 6th April 2025.
