Biddy is a petite and gentle soul who currently holds the title of our eldest resident. This sweetheart has a sensitive, slightly bashful nature and tends to be a little shy when first meeting new faces. However, those who give her the time and patience to find her feet are rewarded with loyalty and a deeply affectionate companion who truly blossoms once she knows you.

Biddy is clean in her kennel, showing great pride in her space, and she spends much of her downtime nesting and cuddling up with her favourite soft toys.

She gets along famously with her fellow greyhounds and has shown interest in other breeds; she was excited to meet our resident corgi, but after the initial buzz of the introduction, she settled into her usual well behaved self. We are continuing to introduce her to different dogs to build her confidence, but so far, she has been a total star!

Biddy’s ideal home would be a quiet place where she can truly decompress and flourish at her own pace.

While she has passed her child tests with flying colours and shown great patience with children of all ages, her soft personality is best suited to a calm, low-energy environment with adults or a family with older, respectful children.

She would be happy sharing her retirement with another greyhound for company, or as the pampered centre of attention, provided her new family understands that she prefers a quiet life over a hectic one.

Biddy is not suitable to live with cats.

Born August 31st 2019, Biddy was known as Biddys Star in her racing days at Yarmouth and in Ireland. She had 136 races, her last being on 11th May 2025
